Pinpoint are a Post-Punk band who were active between 1978 and 1981 .
They comprised Arthur Billingsley on Guitar and Vocals, David M. Allen on Bass and Vocals and Hugh Griffiths on Drums. Pinpoint recorded three singles and an album for Albion records. The first single, “Richmond”, was produced by Vic Maile and “Yo-Yo” and “Waking up to Morning” by Martin Rushent. The album was produced by Martin Rushent at Eden and Genetic Sound studios. They toured extensively with 999 and The Members during 1978 and 1979.
Arthur Billingsley (aka Arturo Bassick) was in the original line up of the Lurkers. He later reformed the Lurkers and toured extensively for many years retiring the live band in 2021. Also touring extensively with 999.
Dave M Allen went on to work for Martin Rushent programming and engineering the ground breaking Human League “Dare” album. He then went on to become an in-demand producer , producing many albums for artists such as The Cure, The Mission and the Sisters of Mercy amongst others .
Hugh Griffiths opened a recording studio in Brixton called Remaximum and recorded many dub hit records in the ‘80s. He now works in Film Production.

Pinpoint 1978- 1981 .This collection of tracks is a record of their work curated by Perry Richards and consisting of tracks never released before and others remastered by Dave M Allen.
